MY YOUNGER SISTER.
I could not think of anything worse than giving my younger sister a list of foods to eat & a list of things to stay away from.
And imagining what her life would be like if she had to exercise every day & eat differently to her partner and future family down the track.
I don’t want my sister growing up being that girl in the office always on a diet and sensitive about her weight, not taking ownership of life. Unable to make decisions, fearing social events and lacking energy, experiencing poor health.
I don’t want my nieces and nephews to grow up watching stupid one-sided documentaries & fearing food, becoming ambassadors for detox teas. Seriously, I would troll them so hard if that happened.
———— Throughout her transformation, there have been some pretty confronting conversations and times of being outside her comfort zone but it was all for the greater good.
Sometimes to achieve balance, takes a bit of what feels like “imbalance” but slowly slowly, things just fall into place, you create new habits and a new normal for yourself and you don’t even realise how much you’ve changed until you look back to appreciate it all.
———————— To my little sister. You’re my inspiration. It’s very emotional watching you growing up and be apart of these incredible results! Thanks for trusting me and thanks for putting in the work! I’m so proud and I love you to the moon and back a bazillion times over!!!
2020 looks flipping exciting hey?! 🔥👏🏼😍 ———————-
